Dual lite, revision and schematics

Postby Archimede55 » Sat Jan 05, 2019 6:52 pm

I used as developing platform the solo version some years ago, now I would like to do the same with the dual but I have some doubts..
If I buy it from Mouser for example, they sell the c1 revision while I’m understanding there is a d1. Which are the differences?
When I try to download the schematics I find only the rev A1 so l’m a bit confused?

Is there some one could help me?

Wandboards are not sold through distributors anymore. Maybe Mouser still has some old inventory to clear. Instead, buy direct from the Wandboard website. They ship from Taiwan very fast and pricing is better. Just be sure what you are ordering is in stock. Only rev D1 boards are being made for about a year now. Rev C1 boards are not supported by newer releases of Yocto, but you can still use Pyro and older.

The major difference is that the D1 boards have a power management chip now (PMIC) and newer Broadcom wifi chip.
