WiFi iformation on Wandboard

Hi,
I am new to wandboard and trying to learn about wifi. Looking for register level description details of Wifi( datasheet and reference manual) and linux driver for wifi. And procedure to up the wifi on linux environment on wandboard. Please suggest and do needful.

This is unusual, since you should not need to do any register level stuff on the wifi. We do not have said manuals for the wifi chip.
For drivers, both bcmdhd and brcmfmac can work.

To up the wifi you need:
1. Kernel modules
2. Firmwares
and then insert the wifi modules, and use commands "iwconfig wlan0 up" and "iwlist wlan0 scan" to verify functionality.

Test some of our pre-built images before you try to do it yourself. The firmwares are usually in /lib/firmware/brcm.

Thanks for the information. I am a beginner of Wifi like to understand hardware internals of wifi. Wifi layers and how to start up the getting knowledge on Wifi
