Wandboard SPI Transfer is set to Max 64 bytes

Postby bkpawar » Tue Jul 19, 2016 12:59 pm

On Onboard I can see on CRO if data length is more than 64 bytes than spi drivers transfer it in multiple chunks of 64 bytes.
Is there any kernel fix for the same. I am using kernel version: 3.13.0-55-generic.
Thanks in advance for the expert comment.

I also found below link where burst length was set to 4095, but I am not sure whether these patch will fix the issue.

1) Burstsize supported up to the maximum burstsize of the hardware.
2) Variable trigger level allows to increase priority for data transfer, enables continuous transfers up to the burstsize.

Try to use the imx6 kernels first, and if they work, then start to experiment with mainline (non-imx6) kernels.
