Camera Connector Cable [solved]

Postby licondam » Sat Apr 13, 2019 9:49 am

Hello Guys,

there is a Standard 0.5mm pitch Connector used for connecting a Camera to the CPU Board.
Our idea is to use a short <3cm standard FFC Cable for connecting to the Camera Interface.
So my question is, if anybody has ever tried to connect with a standard cable, because there will be some reflections on the lvds lines in fact of the changed wave impedance on the cable.

I'm also wondering if there are no termination Resistors on the LVDS lines on the Wandboard CPU Module for the CSI Interface?

Your question has been marked as solved. So, can you please share what you learned about the camera cabling?

Thanks, Clay
