How to shutdown and start linux on wandboard?

Postby peterpandam » Fri May 11, 2018 7:32 am

Hi All,

Currently I am working on wandboard-quad. As my project demands, I have to shutdown and again start the linux on wandboard without actually removing power or pushing reset button. Is there any way to send signal to wandboard to shutdown linux and signal it to start linux without removing power or pushing reset button ( may be through GPIO).

Regards,
PPD

You will probably have to write some code to monitor a GPIO or USB or ethernet.
The code in C to do the shutdown is:

system("shutdown -h -P now");
