what is the expected network throughput?

Postby edsut » Mon Jun 01, 2015 7:37 pm

A guy in my group is using a Wandboard quad with the ubuntu14.04 image installed.
He is testing it out running iperf from it to an i7-based machine with a cable
between them. He said he's seeing about 450Mbit throughput in this mode.
Is this about right or are there tweeks to bump this up?
Anybody been there?

According this document about processor in WandBoard:
https://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit ... pdf?fasp=1

described in ERR004512 the maximum ethernet speed is about 470 Mbps.
