I think I need bigger characters on my monitor. You didn't use correct command. It must be
Code: Select all
${CC}gcc --version
and not
Code: Select all
{CC}gcc --version
You see $ character?

root@mars:/home/mars/WandBuild/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.9-2014.09_linux/bin# ${CC}gcc --version
bash: /home/mars/WandBuild/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.9-2014.09_linux/bin/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.9-2014.09_linux/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc:

You must follow instructions exactly as they are written. You executed export CC inside gcc folder. But it must be called in a folder where you download and unpack gcc archive.

Very strange it tested now properly.

I have removed all the folders and cleaned, started from fresh. I able to do all the steps.
Now in this step
Setup microSD/SD card

This command
sudo sfdisk --in-order --Linux --unit M ${DISK} <<-__EOF__
1,,0x83,-
__EOF__

Displayed

root@mars:/home/mars/WandBuild# sudo sfdisk --in-order --Linux --unit M ${DISK} <<-__EOF__
> 1,,0x83,-
> __EOF__

If you created or changed a DOS partition, /dev/foo7, say, then use dd(1)
to zero the first 512 bytes: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/foo7 bs=512 count=1
(See fdisk(8).)

My sd card size is 16Gb, why it's not showing the size of the SD card.
Is this correct?

Thanks Vpeter,

Used /dev/sdb instead DISK=/dev/mmcblk0. Able to write on SDcard,
Let you know working status on wandboard.

Thanks again.

You don't have SD card as /dev/mmcblk0. Check with dmesg command after you attach SD card.

And next time be very, very careful with commands like this because you can easily wipe out whole hard drive.

I am sure that there is no command, but why doc speaks about this. I did not understood. This

Setup microSD/SD card

export DISK=/dev/mmcblk0
And used DISK in many places.

Any how i have not used it, just tested.
Thanks for help.

DISK is just environment variable pointing to your SD card device. You need to set it correctly for your case - I don't know if /dev/mmcblk0 is correct or not. I think I always has something like /dev/sdX.
