Linux for new Quad Plus?

I've just bought two of the new Quad Plus boards, and I need a Linux. The posted Ubuntu downloads don't boot, and I'm pretty sure it's because the new hardware (PMIC, Wifi/BT) isn't in the device tree.

Where can a fellow get a linux image?

Furthermore... I didn't see any commits re the Quad Plus in the github repository.

Sorry for the late reply.
There are several new commits on wandboard github to support wandboard rev.D1.
(Wandboard QuadPLUS/Quad/DualLite/Solo with updated WiFi and Powermanagement IC)

And wandboard team plans to upgrade u-boot to u-boot 2016.03 and kernel to linux imx_4.1.15_2.0.0_ga.
In the following weeks, wandboard team will release Yocto 2.0, ubuntu 16.04 and android Marshmallow/Nougat demo images.

Any progress on these OS updates? Will the new images work on the previous hardware versions as well? I would like to use the mentioned Ubuntu 16.04 image.

Does this new 16.04 image work on all wandboards? I tried it on my older quad and it didn't seem to boot.
