Ubuntu 14.04 - LVDS only tux visible

Postby kruszi » Tue Jan 31, 2017 5:29 pm

Hi,

What could be the issue if only the tux (four of them WBQ) are visible but no graphical interface is loaded? I have a LVDS connected, timing seems right. Writing 0 to /fb0/blank will display the console. My devicetree has been adapted (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1368)

Thanks

Hi kruszi
Can you check the file at /etc/X11/xorg.conf. If ubuntu run on imx6. The value of item "Driver" was vivante.

Section "Device"
Identifier "i.MX Accelerated Framebuffer Device"
Driver "vivante"
Option "fbdev" "/dev/fb0"
Option "vivante_fbdev" "/dev/fb0"
Option "HWcursor" "false"
EndSection

Section "ServerFlags"
Option "BlankTime" "0"
Option "StandbyTime" "0"
Option "SuspendTime" "0"
Option "OffTime" "0"
EndSection
