Can't mount second microSD at boot

Postby Stepard » Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:07 am

Hello,
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm a super newbie and I can't find a solution for my problem.
I have a wandboard quad with Debian Jessie that i use as NAS. At the board are connected 3 USB HD formatted in ntfs. In fstab I have configured them and everything works well.
Now i would like to connect a 64 GB microSD (Samsung Evo Plus) in the "second microSD slot".
I inserted the microSD on board (that is on) and I configured fstab like this:

Code: Select all
# UNCONFIGURED FSTAB FOR BASE SYSTEM
UUID=12c15c3a-0b1b-4522-a18f-b57834366583       /       auto    defaults,noatime0       1
UUID=B8AE514DAE510572   /media/nas/inateck      ntfs-3g noatime,noatime,umask=000,users,rw,uid=step,gid=step      0       0
UUID=C6B04293B0428A3F   /media/nas/mybook       ntfs-3g noatime,noatime,umask=000,users,rw,uid=step,gid=step      0       0
UUID=6416E86D16E84222   /media/nas/mybook3tb    ntfs-3g noatime,noatime,umask=000,users,rw,uid=step,gid=step      0       0
UUID=["microSD UUID"] /media/nas/microsd  ext4["I tried with ntfs and exfat too"]    defaults    0   0

it seems everything ok, in fact if I do:

Code: Select all
 sudo mount /media/nas/microsd

I can see the microSD content in /media/nas/microsd.

But when i restart the wandboard it doesn't complete the boot (stuck at screen with 4 penguins). Only if I comment the last line in /etc/fstab and I remove the second microSD from the slot, the wandboard complete the boot.

What I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english.

I am guessing it tries to mount the rootfs from the wrong SD card ... the mmc numbering is kinda messy =/
This can be controlled in u-boot usually.
