Python3 Features

Hello guys;
I want to generate image in Yocto which has python3 features . This features exist in the /fsl-community-bsp/source/meta/recipes-devtools/python/python3/ directory .
I couldnt make avalible for wandboard at /fsl-community-bsp/build/conf/local.conf then I made bitbake python3 in build directory. The python3 modules was generated but it places at /build/tmeo/deploy/rpm/cortexa9hf_vfp_neon_mx6qdl /
director . Is there any way to use the python3 rpm files for my Wandboard or do you know how to generate python3 featured image ?
My kernel version 3.10.17 and I'm using dizzy branch ..

Hello, Must_ba:

In yocto, if we want to add a new package into target image, we can add it in local.conf.

conf/local.conf
Code: Select all
IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " python3"


BTW, it seems there was bug to add python3 package for old yocto, but already got solved:

Thank you for your reply , It work's when we add python-core to the local.conf , but I guess this package install the default python modules like python 2.7 and python to the image
The python 3 features is not included in python-core package . It 's yocto's problem I think .
