hwclock in pre or custom compiled Android Kitkat!

Hi,
Aim of exercise is to learn how RTC works in Kernel.

I tried Pre-compiled Android Kitkat image on Wandboard (WB-EDM-imx6 Rev C1).
I got log related to RTC
Code: Select all
[    2.982292] isl29023 2-0044: standard operating mode
[    2.987457] isl29023_probe: failed!!
[    2.991205] isl29023: probe of 2-0044 failed with error -5
[    2.996880] i2c-core: driver [isl29023] using legacy suspend method
[    3.003312] i2c-core: driver [isl29023] using legacy resume method
[    3.010027] rtc-ds1307: probe of 2-0068 failed with error -5

[    3.841674] drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device (rtc0)

When Custom compiled Android kitkat tried then got log related to RTC as below:-
Code: Select all
[    3.537890] drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device (rtc0)

When I run command 'Busybox hwclock -r' then I got following log:-
Code: Select all
hwclock: can't open '/dev/misc/rtc': No such file or directory

So question is how I can get 'right' result of command 'hwclock -r' in Android kitkat irrespective of pre or custom compiled image use?
