WB Quad won't boot

I've downloaded the 4.3 android image and configured the SD card with one of the uEnv.txt, my tv is blank. The serial port is red. Im confident that I've used DD correctly. Any help?

As your description, there are two possible cases.
One is this board can't boot, the other is wandboard hdmi with poor support for your TV/monitor.
Could you post the kernel log from debug console?(kernel log may have the information if wandboard reads EDID and fails)
What resolution is your TV ? (1080P or 720P)
Do you use hdmi to DVI connector?

The TV is 1080p, and how would i access debugging on the Quad? Unfortunately i am a bit strapped for cash and won't be able to buy more accessories in order to attempt and fix the issue. The Quad did boot Ubuntu before so it was functioning, then i stopped playing with the Quad

Hello, pzdunczyk:

Does your PC have RS232 port?
Could you try to connect the 9-pins debug UART port to your PC?
Use terminal program(like. putty or teraterm) to Check if there is message from debug console to make sure this board still be able to boot up.

Maybe you are just facing the same problem as I did, but not sure.

In fact it is a nooby mistake I made, but if you are connecting your Tv via HDMI and it shows no screen, maybe you inserted the SD card in the wrong spot ? That was just the fault that I made ...

The Wandboard has two SD card slots. One next to the USB port only for Data and one under the Heat sink. That is the one you have to use for your SD card with the os on it.

your depiction, there are two conceivable cases.

One is this board can't boot, the other is wandboard hdmi with poor backing for your TV/screen.

Might you be able to post the portion log from troubleshoot console?(kernel log may have the data if wandboard peruses EDID and falls flat)

What determination is your TV ? (1080P or 720P)

Do you utilize hdmi to DVI connector?

seems that I have the same problem, checked with 2 monitors, both connected to DVI.
