need help with commands for using yocto for wand d1

Postby magnum007 » Sat Aug 05, 2017 2:14 pm

Hello, I bought a wand quad d1 recently, I have loaded the Ubuntu 16.04 image and run that.
So now I am trying to learn how to build and add to the same Ubuntu image, do you have the steps somewhere?

I would assume the Ubuntu 16.04 image for wand has built by yacto recipes? yes? no? by what then? public info?

I notice that the wand wikipedia on yacto is very high level and generic, so that does not seem to help.
Does someone have the proven series of linux terminal commands to use?

I found a third party github wiki titled "getting started with yocto on wandboard" it seems to be saying one needs to use the freescale githib repo.
So wandoard has no public repo github?

Then I see wand has a yocto download, but this seems to be a series of .dlls ... I am a newbie but this does not seem to be yocto recipes,
what is it?

So can someone give me a heads up on what links to use? Thank you

This is a good summary, but it is out of date:

http://wiki.wandboard.org/Getting_start ... _Wandboard

This is more current (for Pyro):

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1471

The Rev D1 boards require Pyro in order for the Ethernet to work.
