Dear ALL,
I have an "WandBoard Solo" WB-IMX6S-BW
I can download the prebuild image from ftp
and worked ok

but I can not rebuild the image through the "readme document"
This yocto release is based on freescale yocto release "imx-4.1.15-1.0.0_ga".

1. if I repo the source and bitbake the image, the wandboard solo board can not boot

2. If I use the source from freescale "FSL Community BSP"
the newest version "Rocko" can be built but not working
which version can I try to build the image??

3. I use the procedures in Wandboard Wiki
the kernel is 3.10.17 , and is too old
althogh the core image is built ok, and can run .
if i want to build the qt5 or multimedia function,
I can't build the image
what can I do or choose which version to test my work!!

Hi Raymond,

If you want to use the FSL Community BSP, you should use the Pyro version, which supports kernel 4.1.15. Rocko, will not boot on rev D1 boards, as I have reported before.
Sumo will boot on all the wandboards, but it is missing GPU, VPU and IPU support. So, Pyro is really the best version.

The alternative is to follow the instructions in NXP's Yocto Users Guide, which allows for much newer kernels, depending on the features you want.
