Hello everybody,

I have a problem, I could not fix it.

My yocto image is "fsl-image-multimedia-full", It has qt packages and some necessary packages.
I added my application's executable file in /home/root directory.

When I boot my Dizzy image, It boots and I have a terminal on the screen.

I can run my application with "./myApp"
There is no problem.
But I want to start my application automatically after boot.

Could you help me please?
I have to solve this problem.

Thanks.

Qt apps can auto start just as any other app, by creating a new runcom script for it.
These commands will show you the existing scripts as examples of how to make new ones:

cat /etc/inittab
ls -la /etc/rc*
cat /etc/init.d/rc.local

The preferred way to install these scripts is with update-rc.d, but it is missing in Dizzy and you have to add it back into the Yocto build to use it.
Here is an example of using it to install a new script to auto-start the lightwing app:

update-rc.d lightwing start 95 5 . stop 95 0 1 2 3 4 6 .

Dependencies In "Advanced -> CSM Configuration" check if a legacy boot method is enabled ... It provides a simple Qt desktop application built and integrated in a yocto project. ... The Hello World example is automatically build in sato and sato-sdk images.
